a) Your secondary clients must send you as the primary any changes they have made to you to import. |

b) Import the information that has been sent to you by your secondary Complete Patrol Logger clients. |

c) Download the upgrade program from below and save to a temporary location. |
| |
d) Run the upgrade executable following the defaults. |
| |
e) Run Complete Patrol Logger. |
| |
f) Complete Patrol Logger if required will prompt you with the following question. |

g) Because you are the primary and you do transfer data back and forth to your parent entity, either your Branch or State, then you should press 'Yes'. |

h) At this point Complete Patrol Logger will go and perform the maintenance required. You will be able to view the progress of this maintenance by looking at the status bar at the bottom of the form. |

i) When complete, Complete Patrol Logger will inform you that maintenance has been done to CPL and that you will need to send your information to your parent entity. The information you need to send to your parent are; Member Details, Award Details and Patrol Hours. |

j) Click 'Ok' and send your data via the Data Transfer Module. The upgrade is now complete for you as the Primary user. |

k) Backup your database via the Data Backup area. Then send the backup ZIP file to your secondary client users. They will then need to replace their databases with the one you provide. Based on the changes made to your database, their databases are now void and must be replaced with the primary. |

| |
a) Send any data you have altered back to your Primary user. |
| |
b) Do not change any data, as your database is now void. |
| |
c) Restore the Primary users database from the file supplied using the restore functions of Complete Patrol Logger. |
